My Story
I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in May of 2007. The lump was found on a routine mammogram. When I met with my radiation oncologist I was apprehensive in using any method that was not the standard radiation treatments that have been used over the years. Dr Atanas really made me feel comfortable with MammoSite. I am so glad I went with a short 5-day course. If I had to have radiation over 6 weeks or more, it would have been a daily reminder of my cancer. MammoSite helped me move on with my life so much sooner. My family got their Mom and wife back!
