My Story

I was scared at first, but now I can tell you...it is much better to get the radiation treatments over so quickly. I was grateful to be a candidate for MammoSite, and to get my treatments over so fast was the best. I did not have my skin burned. It was a little red. But ointment does help with the redness. The oncology team was so wonderful; they treated me like professionals as well as a good friend. The radiation was soooo quick and was not bad at all.
